Munich

We left Rothenburg at 9 this morning. Lucked out on the 10 minute walk to the train. It did not start raining until we were on board and moving. it took about 1 1/2 hours to get here and we changed trains twice. It has been overcast all day, cooler, but no rain. We walked around town, went to the Hofbrauhaus for our lunch/ supper. It was big, noisy,but wonderful. They have men playing German music while you eat. In MarienPlatz, where the glockenspiel is, they have many street performers.
I think one of the most fascinating places is the train station. The below ground level has all kinds of shops and even a grocery store. You can walk under all the main streets and pop out on the other side. It is like walking through a department store. I am going to try to attach a couple of videos, but I don't know if they wil go. The internet is spotty at best.
